Laptop screen repair and replacement
A cracked, flickering, lined or black laptop screen can usually be replaced without losing anything on the laptop. The price depends on your exact model and screen type, so give us the model number and we will quote it.
Why the price varies
Laptop screens differ by size, resolution, connector and whether they are touch-enabled. A basic HD panel costs far less than a high-resolution or touch panel. That is why we ask for the make and model, and the model number printed on the underside of the laptop.
Sometimes a screen that looks broken is a loose cable or a graphics fault. We check before we replace anything.
Before you contact us
Plug the laptop into an external monitor or TV if you can. If the picture shows up there, the laptop itself is working and the screen is the likely fault. Tell us what you see when you call.
Screen problems we deal with
- Cracked or smashed glass
- Lines, flicker or colour patches
- Black screen but the laptop powers on
- Dim screen or failed backlight
- Touch screen not responding
- Hinge and bezel damage
